Bump in the road

Rachel had hoped to compete in the Denver Triathlon for some early summer training, but apparently that won't happen. Bummer.

Race Postponed

The Denver Triathlon is moving to September 22nd

Due to circumstances beyond our control we are having to move the date of the Denver Triathlon. We are working to inform all parties involved as quickly as possible. You, the athlete, are our top priority. We have attempted to personally contact each athlete coming from out of town and would like your help spreading the news throughout the triathlon community as well.

Registration for the Denver Triathlon will close for a few days and then re-open once all our proper updates have been completed. The announced courses, including cycling on Speer Blvd will remain the same. If you are already registered your registration will carry over to September 22nd.

We are hopeful that the change to September 22nd will be positive news to you and gives you the opportunity to train longer this summer with more open water swim training prior to the race. If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please email us here.

We thank you for your participation and support in Denver's only urban triathlon, past and future. As a young race we are experiencing growing pains and endeavor to continue to create the best possible experience for our athletes.

If you still need a race in your schedule for June 9th, we have worked out an opportunity with the Greeley Triathlon happening June 9 as well. For details please email us by May 17th.

Thank you,

Chris Laskey
Race Director
